Daniel S. Samadi, M.D. is a board-certified and fellowship trained otolaryngologist with extensive expertise in treating Ear, Nose, Throat disorders in adults and children of all ages. Our goal is to provide the most innovative, comprehensive and state of the art technological care to children and their families.
Since 2003, Dr. Samadi has held the esteemed position as the director of The Cochlear Implant Center. The center, one of only few in New Jersey, provides the breakthrough treatment of cochlear implantation for pediatric and adult patients with profound sensorineural (nerve) hearing loss. Dr. Samadi graduated summa cum laude in Biochemistry from New York University. A graduate of The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine with high honors, Dr. Samadi completed his internship in general surgery and residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. He completed his fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia/University of Pennsylvania Medical Center.
Dr. Daniel Samadi has been involved in both basic and clinical research throughout most of his education and after graduation: at New York University, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Medical Center and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
An educator and lecturer in pediatric Otolaryngology, Dr. Samadi is frequently invited to speak on multiple topics spanning the vast field of Pediatric Otolaryngology.
He has published extensively in several peer reviewed journals and has received multiple national awards for his clinical and basic science research. In 2001, he received the distinguished recognition from The American Broncho-Esophageal Association for his basic science research in a rabbit model.
Dr. Samadi is a member of The American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, The American Rhinologic Society, and The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Samadi’s office is located at 10 Forest Ave, Suite 100 Paramus, NJ 07652.
